Who We Are
AM Bus & Truck (Pvt) Ltd was founded in 1991 by Anthony Malakou as a small, family-run business supplying spare parts primarily for DAF buses. Built on integrity, reliability and a deep understanding of the transport industry, the company steadily earned the trust of customers who relied on quality parts to keep their fleets operational.
More than three decades later, AM Bus, Truck & Trailer has grown into Zimbabwe’s leading importer, stockist and distributor of commercial vehicle spare parts.
In 2011, the company was acquired by Paul Brien, whose leadership has played a pivotal role in shaping the business into what it is today. Under his stewardship, alongside General Manager and long-standing friend, Peter Smith, AM Bus, Truck & Trailer has significantly expanded its product range, strengthened its staff base, grown its branch network, and broadened its customer and supplier relationships, positioning the company for sustainable long-term growth.
Our journey reflects resilience, adaptability and a continued commitment to serving the transport and logistics sector — the backbone of the economy.
Today, AM Bus, Truck & Trailer is proudly Zimbabwean, trusted nationwide, and positioned as a long-term partner to fleet operators, workshops and transport businesses.
